Recently, we’ve had our whole operation subject to a green audit to evaluate and reduce the environmental impact of our business.
We'll be reducing the environmental impact of our business and will be working with clients to offset the carbon footprint of any promotional material we produce. So, for example, if we print a thousand brochures, we’ll plant some trees to redress the balance.
On our website, we’ve installed the unique Marketing Carbon Calculator, so you can automatically see what impact your marketing materials will have on your carbon footprint.
We’ve also instigated the Communitree Project which will be rolled out nationally. The goal is to bring together charities, trusts, the community and local and national businesses to exchange skills & equipment ideas to improve our environment and plant trees.
Here’s just one example: By generating local sponsorship, we’re aiming to provide schools with fully equipped polytunnels. These will act as environmental classrooms where children can plant and grow tree seedlings.
Once the trees are big enough, we’ll work with the community to re-plant them as part of our green ‘offset’ programme, starting in a 10-acre field which has been donated to our cause.
